What's up eeerbody and thanks for checkin in. Well since last time we talked I've been getting up to just alil bit of this and that. I took about a week and a half off after X games to let my ankle and groin heal up and got into some physical therapy to speed up the process. I spent a couple days lounging on Manhattan beach doing absolutely nothing besides getting sunburnt! It was very relaxing and just what I needed to let the stress and anxiety go from X Games. Its a very mentally tough challenge to put months of work into something and have it all fall apart in a sec and not get to fulfill the task which I trained for. I've had many nights of laying in bed thinking if there was something I could have done differently to change the outcome. But I've had to just accept that sometimes fluke mechanical errors happen in this sport and sometimes they're going to happen to me and that 'sometime' just might be at X Games.
So I've put X Games behind me and started training for the remaining comps coming up this year. I've got the Salt Lake City stop of the Dew Tour coming up in two weeks followed by Mexico X Games and LG Action Sports Champs the following two weeks. I feel good again and have been hitting my foam pit a bit. Basically just doing all the ususall steps to get ready for a comp. and hopefully I can redeam myself a lil bit.
