I don't like to lie to my fans. So ill start off by saying I AM PUMPED to be sitting on my couch at home, chillin.

My trip to Europe was going great. I won the demo/contest at the Barcelona supercross and had a great time riding bicycles around Barcelona and hanging out in the sunny weather. Well the following week in Belgium was a little different. It was cold and constantly raining. And to make it a little more challenging I came down with food poisoning thursday night! I haven't had food poisoning since I was alittle kid and it is horrible! I didn't get out of bed for a day and a half, which forced me to not ride the friday night show. I was super bummed and could tell that the promoter Mike Van Cleven wasnt thrilled either.

I woke up saturday feeling a bit more energetic and I was able to hold some food and water down. Saturday night I was allowed a short practice as the doors were opening, it was just perfect to get the jumps dialed and feel comfortable, as I stayed in bed all day again. I decided to just stick to what I felt absolutely comfortable doing. I was able to do most of my standard tricks and about a half dozen of my flip tricks. As the show went on I was feeling more and more fluid on the bike and was able to losen up a bit and have a little fun. I was super happy after the show, traveling all the way to Belgium and not being able to ride because of a stomach illness just didn't sound like any fun at all. In the end I was pumped with my decision to tough it out and ride, the promoter Mike was pumped and I knew that I had salvaged what I could for the weekend.

The fact that it all worked out and the show was a succes made me confident in my decision makeing, which I was a little doubtfull on when I woke up that morning! Like I said, I'm pumped to be sitting on MY Couch right now. A busy/hectic weekend like that is gonna make my holiday break even more enjoyable! Don't get me wrong though, I've got plenty ot do before the new year! Ill be picking up my new '08 bike this week and its no-joke getting 5 bikes fully set up and "comp ready". Check back next week for more on my practiceing, training and whatever else ill be getting up to!

Thanks for reading, peace!
